Blumac Digital was tasked with creating a unified digital solution for SML Paints and Coatings, a client operating in three distinct business sectors: Marine, Protective and Decorative paints. This project involved developing three frontend websites, each tailored to its specific sector, and a robust backend web application named SMiLe to manage orders, content, and customer relations. Sector-Specific Frontend Websites

We designed and developed three frontend websites, each dedicated to one of SML Paints and Coatings' business sectors. Despite the unique design and functionality tailored to the Protective, Decorative, and Marine sectors, these websites share a common product database and CRM. This unified approach ensures consistent data management and streamlines operations across the different business areas.

• Marine Sector Website:
  Caters to the marine industry, presenting products and services tailored for marine environments. This website emphasises durability and compliance with industry standards, providing detailed technical specifications and case studies.
• Protective Sector Website:
  Showcases a range of products focused on safety and protection, featuring detailed product descriptions, industry-specific resources, and easy navigation to enhance user experience.
• Decorative Sector Website:

SMiLe: The Comprehensive Backend Solution

The backbone of this project is the SMiLe system, a powerful backend web application designed to streamline content management, customer relations, and order processing for SML Paints and Coatings. Here’s a closer look at its key features:

• Content Management:
  SMiLe allows staff to effortlessly manage website content across all three frontend websites. This centralised system ensures consistency and efficiency, enabling quick updates and modifications as needed.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
  The built-in CRM system helps manage customer information and quotes, providing a seamless experience from initial contact through to post-sale support. It consolidates customer data across all sectors, facilitating personalised communication and targeted marketing efforts.
• Order Management System (OMS):
  SMiLe's full-featured OMS allows for easy tracking and management of orders throughout their lifecycle. Staff can monitor order status, update information in real-time, and ensure timely fulfillment.
• Integration with ParcelForce:
  To enhance order fulfillment, the OMS integrates directly with ParcelForce, enabling the creation of shipping consignments and labels for all orders. This integration simplifies the shipping process, reducing errors and improving delivery times.
