Bespoke business software

Bespoke business software that fits the way you work

We build bespoke business software for UK businesses that have outgrown spreadsheets and off-the-shelf workarounds: one system for customers, quotes, orders, jobs and staff, shaped around how you actually work. From a custom CRM to a full back office, it connects to the software you already use, so information is typed in once and appears wherever it is needed.

The problem

Running the business on spreadsheets and workarounds

Most growing businesses end up with the same patchwork: a spreadsheet for jobs, another for quotes, a CRM nobody fully uses, and an accounts package that someone updates by hand at the end of the week. Each piece works on its own. Together they mean the same details are typed in several times, nobody is quite sure which copy is right, and answering a simple question about the business means opening four things.

When off-the-shelf stops fitting

Off-the-shelf software is the right answer when your business works the way it expects. Bespoke business software earns its place when you are bending your process to fit a package, paying for features you never use, or holding the whole thing together with copying and pasting. Built around your way of working, it does the job the package could not.

What it changes

One place for the business

Customers, quotes, orders, jobs and staff live in one system, so everyone works from the same up-to-date information.

Typed in once

Details entered once flow to wherever they are needed, including your accounts, so nobody spends the afternoon re-keying.

Your rules, not the package's

Pricing, approvals and the steps a job goes through follow how your business actually works.

See what is happening

Reports and dashboards come from live information, not from a spreadsheet someone last updated on Friday.

What we build

Bespoke software solutions for the way you run things

The systems we build most often, alone or together

1

Bespoke CRM

Customer records, contacts and history shaped around how you sell, joined up with your quotes and orders instead of sitting off to one side.

2

Quotes, orders and jobs

From the first quote to the finished job: pricing that follows your rules, approval steps, and a clear status for every order.

3

Customer and supplier portals

Let customers place orders, check progress and raise issues themselves, so your team answers fewer emails.

4

Staff, holidays and tasks

Holiday and absence, expenses, tasks and documents in the same system as the work, rather than in yet another app.

5

Fleet and compliance

Vehicles, checks, defects and key dates, with official tax and MOT data pulled in automatically.

6

Connected to what you already use

Links to accounting packages, couriers, payment providers and Microsoft 365, so the system fits into the business rather than sitting beside it.

Bespoke business software: common questions

What is bespoke business software?

Software built around how one business works, rather than a package the business has to work around. It usually brings together jobs that are otherwise spread across spreadsheets, email and several off-the-shelf tools: customers, quotes, orders, jobs, staff and the reports that tell you how things are going.

Is a bespoke CRM better than an off-the-shelf one?

Not always. If a standard CRM fits how you sell and you are happy to follow its way of working, it is usually the cheaper choice. A bespoke CRM makes sense when your customers, pricing or processes do not fit the package, when you are paying for features you never use, or when the CRM needs to be part of your quoting, ordering or job system rather than a separate place to keep notes.

Can bespoke software work with the systems we already use?

Yes. Connecting to the software you already rely on is a large part of what we do: accounting packages such as Sage and QuickBooks, couriers, payment providers, Microsoft 365 and government data such as DVLA and Companies House. The aim is that information is typed in once and appears everywhere it is needed.

How long does bespoke business software take to build?

It depends on how much the first version has to do. We prefer to deliver in stages, starting with the part that removes the most manual work, so you are using something useful early while the rest is built. We will give you a realistic timescale once we understand what is needed.

How much does bespoke business software cost?

It depends on what the system has to do and how much of it already exists. Much of what we build sits on our own business platform, which already handles things like users, permissions, customers, orders, staff and fleet records, so you pay mainly for the parts that are specific to your business. We will scope it with you on a short call and give you a clear quote.

Who looks after the software once it is live?

We do, if you want us to. We host, monitor and support the systems we build, and keep them up to date as your business and the software they connect to change.
